Reminder about National Survey of Student Learning Outcomes Assessment

Earlier this spring the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA) sent its first annual survey to chief academic officers at all accredited two- and four-year colleges and universities in the United States. Earlier mailings were sent electronically, but NILOA recently sent a paper copy of the questionnaire to those who had not yet completed it. The survey is in its final stage and it is possible that the nature of some of the questions will prompt your chief academic officer to contact you or someone in your office for information.

This is just a reminder about the project which is based at Indiana University and the University of Illinois. A good response rate will make the findings useful to us all and I appreciate your support. For more information about NILOA, its National Advisory Panel, and funders, go to www.learningoutcomesassessment.org.
