New AIR Publications Chair
Due to mounting work responsibilities, Dr. Steve DesJardins is resigning as Chair
of the AIR Publications Committee. Thank you Steve for your years of service to
the Publications Committee!
The AIR Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Mardy Eimers, Director of Institutional
Research at the University of Missouri – Columbia to serve as the AIR Publications
Committee Chair for the next two years, completing Steve’s term. Dr. Eimers is a
former member of the Publications Committee and a former Editor of the Professional
File. He was a past recipient of the Charles F. Elton Forum Best Paper Award. Dr.
Eimers had been serving as a member of the AIR Membership Committee.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Eimers to his role both with the Publications Committee
and the AIR Board of Directors. AIR is fortunate to have individuals of the
quality of Steve and Mardy involved with our organization.
