AIR Congratulates the 2010 Research and Dissertation
Grant Award Winners
The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) with support from the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and the National Postsecondary Education Cooperative (NPEC), awarded $289,000 in grants to nine recipients. The Research and Dissertation Grant Program has supported research on a wide range of issues of critical importance to U.S. higher education for 14 years.
For the 2010 awards, faculty and practitioners received research grants of up to $39,000 and doctoral students received dissertation grants of up to $19,000. Each grant supports one year of research on higher education issues using datasets from NCES or NSF or addressing the 2010 NPEC focus topic, socioeconomic factors affecting access and success. AIR is proud to play a role in improving institutional research in postsecondary educational institutions and we congratulate our 2010 award winners.
